We are looking for a Staff Accountant to join our accounting and finance team to support efforts with client billing, payroll, accounts payable and accounts receivable.
What You’ll Accomplish
In this role, the Staff Accountant will be a key member of our Finance division, with responsibilities across financial reporting, payroll, accounts payable and receivable, and monthly close supporting our three lines of business. Our Staff Accountant is someone with a desire to work in a fast-paced role, who can juggle multiple tasks with frequent interruptions, and wants to perform at a high-level of productivity in a team environment. With a positive attitude, you will operate autonomously when required, but also understand when to collaborate with internal stakeholders and can expertly navigate client facing interactions. You will continuously improve standard accounting tasks while also assisting Management with critical and timely projects as they come due while demonstrating an exceptional attention to detail.

- Efficient at corresponding directly with clients in a professional and concise manner.
- Bill, manage and maintain client billing system. Activities include setting up customers in the billing system, amend invoices as needed and process one-time and recurring monthly invoices in a timely manner.
- Perform cash/check application for all incoming payments.
- Perform company bi-weekly payroll processing utilizing ADP.
- Maintain financial reports, records, and general ledger accounts.
- Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
- Support timely monthly, quarterly, half-year, and year-end financial close.
- Utilize third party portals to reconcile accounts.
- Assist with year-end audit responsibilities including gathering necessary account information and documents.
- Assist in researching customer billing inquiries and/or disputes.
- Update and maintain client and sales data.
- Partner with leadership to oversee day-to-day process execution, identify problems, areas for improvement, and communicate performance results and/or changes throughout organization.
- Review contracts with an eye for detail for completeness and accuracy and compare to billings.
- Work with the leadership team to stay updated on product knowledge, internal processes and be informed of any changes in company/departmental policies or procedures.
- Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) related to department processes and systems.
- Assist sales team with ensuring new orders get processed timely and accurately.
- Assist with departmental reporting processes.
- Assist with updating and improving documentation of policies and procedures related to assigned responsibilities as well as those related to the department.
- Have a comprehensive understanding of Atmosera Products + Services with understanding of pricing and discount models.
- Manage the purchasing and invoicing system.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of practical experience
- Efficient with Microsoft Dynamics SL or Similar ERP
- Efficient with Salesforce or Similar CRM
- Experience with Zuora or Similar CPQ System
- Demonstrated Understanding of Sales Operations Processes and Systems (sales cycle, CRM applications, reporting)
- Ability to Clearly Educate and Demonstrate Solutions and/or Processes to Atmosera Staff

This is a full-time position in the United States with the ability to work from home, or from one of our many US offices if local.
